Special shout out to South River Alum, Lauren Poole. Lauren is now a senior at the University of Kentucky and was recently presented with the NCAA’s Elite 90 Award – an award presented to the student-athlete with the highest GPA participating at the finals site for each of the NCAA’s 90 Championships. Congrats Lauren on the tremendous honor and an outstanding career at the University of Kentucky.

We got a whole list of great guests this week including Coaches Darren Hall and Mike Zivic on their big playoff games this week. The girls' tip off vs Broadneck at 6pm on Monday night followed by the boy's on Tuesday night at 6pm vs Severna Park. Both games are at South River - please come out to support our boys and girls. Also Monday our Ice Hockey team continues their pursuit of a state championship with a quarter finals match vs Walt Whitman. And last but not least we talk to Steve, Anna and William Burke on the flag football program here in Anne Arundel county that has become a great community event.
